Wow! I can't believe summer is almost gone! Where did the time go? We are starting all the back to school things. The girls have their lists, and we need to go shopping! Only 21 more days til school!
I took the girls on a mini photo shoot. Didn't turn out half bad, I thought. We went to the river, an old bridge in Sibley, railroad tracks in town,(the girls were a little freaked out about that, thought we were going to get in trouble) and to an old barn on the highway in town. Might have to do that this Fall too. Bet the colors on the river would be pretty!
I'm debating on whether or not I should do Saige's 4 year old pics or just to take her too Picture People....hmmm need to decide soon. My baby will be 4 in about a month! Can't quite grasp that yet. I started an evil tradition too. Every year I made her invites using digi scrapping. Well this year I can't and feel bad. I lost my PSPX CD and when we got a new tower I forgot to transfer it. GAH! So I want to buy PS, but I don't think I can swing that before her birthday. So I may have to ask one of my dear friends to do her invites this year. ;-) We are just doing the usual, BBQ, but this year we have a bigger house so it's here, instead of at the park.
Dear sweet Gensen is "trying" to learn how to cook. So far she has burnt a grilled cheese sandwich, along with my favorite turner, and a plastic fork. Then she decided to make some ramen noodles(the ones in a cup that you have to add water too). She put them in the microwave and then Saige said "Something stinks!" I can't smell and Gen went to the microwave and opened it and smoke came rolling out. The container was about on fire, actually I think it was at one point, and the noodles were black. TG I have a fire extingisher under the sink, we may need it. I told her no more for awhile, I'll do the cookin.
The lake has been great. But we are taking a break til mid August. I think the last 2 months we have been down there more than the last two years! It was getting quite expensive! But I am dying to ride my 4-wheeler! Need to bring that baby home for winter!
